Terms of service
1. Operator and agreement
These terms govern use of SIGVORA, operated by Dirk Zimmermann, operating under the project name SIGVORA at Carrer Llubí 97, 07300 Inca, Spain. By creating or accepting a record, review, or ownership transfer, you agree to these terms. Contact: media.dirk@gmail.com.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Business users confirm they are authorised to act for the named organisation. You must use your own authenticated account, keep access secure, and provide accurate information.
3. Proof records
SIGVORA records claims, evidence, events, and ownership history. An “issuer attested” status means only that an authenticated user created the claim. It is not an independent authenticity decision. You remain responsible for the truth, legality, and completeness of every record and file you submit.
4. Independent reviews
A record owner may invite a different authenticated account to review a claim. A non-demo record can receive a completed independent-review decision only from an account whose SIGVORA reviewer trust profile has been administratively verified. The public result identifies the reviewer, organisation, scope, and decision. A verified trust profile is not professional accreditation, employment, or endorsement by SIGVORA. Reviewers remain responsible for their qualifications, methods, disclosures, conflicts of interest, and statements.
4A. Trust profiles and badges
Issuer and reviewer users may submit organisation, registration, and qualification information for administrative review. A verified identity badge means that SIGVORA reviewed the submitted profile information; it is not accreditation, endorsement, a product inspection, or a guarantee that every statement or record created by that user is correct. SIGVORA may suspend or remove a badge when information changes or concerns arise.
5. Ownership transfers
A digital transfer changes the named owner in SIGVORA only after the invited recipient signs in with the matching email and accepts. Review and transfer invitations expire after 14 days, and a transfer becomes invalid if the inviting account is no longer the current record owner. A SIGVORA transfer does not by itself transfer legal title, payment, physical possession, insurance, or regulatory registration. Parties must complete any separate legal or commercial requirements.
6. Public verification and reliance
Public pages report the current database status and recorded history. A verified status reflects the identified reviewer's recorded decision, not a guarantee by SIGVORA that an item is genuine, safe, lawful, valuable, or unaltered. Buyers and other users should inspect the item, reviewer, issuer, tag condition, and supporting documents and obtain professional advice where appropriate.
6A. Pilot records and reported concerns
Records prominently marked as demo or pilot records are fictional training data and must never be treated as evidence of authenticity, ownership, origin, or value. Users may report suspected counterfeiting, theft, tampering, or incorrect information. A report is an allegation until investigated. SIGVORA may place alerts, revoke records, correct information, preserve audit notes, or dismiss unsupported reports after review.
6B. Mobile photo pilots
An invited tester may photograph a bottle or other permitted sample to evaluate the submission workflow. Photos, label details, QR records, and a “review required” status do not prove authenticity. Pilot reviewers assess the workflow and visible information only; they do not certify a bottle unless a separate, qualified real-world examination is expressly agreed. Testers must photograph only items they own or are authorised to photograph and must avoid unnecessary personal information.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the operator and its hosting providers a non-exclusive licence to store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support SIGVORA according to your selected sharing actions. You confirm you have all necessary rights and permissions.
8. Prohibited use
You must not create false provenance, impersonate an issuer or reviewer, manipulate a tag, upload unlawful or malicious material, infringe another person's rights, expose sensitive personal data without a valid basis, probe security, or use SIGVORA for fraud. Payment-card and protected health information are prohibited.
9. Availability, suspension, and changes
SIGVORA is an evolving service. Features may change and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Reasonable request, record, upload, review, transfer, and reporting limits apply to protect the service from spam, abuse, and excessive automated use. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, comply with law, investigate suspected fraud, or enforce these terms. Where reasonable, users will be given notice and an opportunity to export or correct relevant records.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SIGVORA is provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated. The operator is not responsible for third-party claims, reviewer errors, physical tags, off-platform transactions, loss of value, or decisions made solely from a verification page. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights where they apply.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spain, without removing any mandatory rights you have under applicable law. Before starting formal proceedings, contact media.dirk@gmail.com so the parties can try to resolve the issue.
